Look what I made

Derrick got me a cricut for my birthday! Here are some of the cute signs I've made. Want one? Ask me! I love to make them!

Pop Tabs

Ever since we stayed at the Ronald McDonald House in Spokane, we have been collecting pop tabs. The RMH collects the pop tabs and then takes to to the Spokane Recycling Center. They use this money to pay for the cost of running the House and to help cover the cost for families who cannot afford to pay for their stay. If you think that your aluminum pop tab donation won’t make a difference, think again! For every pound of pop tabs collected, the House recycles the tabs and receives the current rate for aluminum. When we visit Derrick's family we plan on making a stop at the RMH house to say hello and drop off our collection of tabs. It's amazing how fast they add up! If you are interested in doing this let me know! I would be more than happy to pick up your tabs and take them to the house!

PLEASE SAVE YOUR POP TABS!

Fun with Picasa

My Uncle Russ told me about this awesome photoshop-like program that is FREE! from Google. It has a lot of neat features. I love that you can do almost black and white, but still have a little color! Here are two collages I created using it!
Check it out if you get a chance! You can find the program here! Thanks Uncle Russ!!

Gettin' creative

I've been slowly working on my scrapbook pages. Here are two recent ones. I really like how they turned out!

My sister-in-law is getting married this summer (Congrats Samantha!). I made her a wedding notebook to help her stay organized through all the chaos! It turned out super cute, I can't wait to give it to her. Hopefully she will like it. The pictures aren't very good, but hopefully it will give you an idea of what it looks like!
Front cover of the notebook
I put in some dividers and labeled them: Invitations, Ceremony, Reception, Attire, and Registry.
In the front pocket I put a notebook and a big fluffy pen so she can right down ideas and suggestions!
I've been discovering how much I love creating things like this notebook. I wish I could think of more projects to do like this! Suggestions?

Week of firsts

We've had quite the week of firsts....Aiden got his first tooth on Friday (HURRAY!), the twins are slowly starting to get to see the outside world (we are able to start taking them more places now! YAY!), I got my first Migraine and CT scan on Friday, and had my first MRI today. I have decided that I am not fond of enclosed spaces. When they did the CT scan on Friday, the radiologist noticed that there was a small 9mm cyst in the middle part of my brain, so the doctor ordered a precautionary MRI to make sure everything is a-okay. We should hear back toward the end of the week.

On a happy note, I ordered a CRICUT! They are on sale this week at JoAnn's and Derrick said I could get one for my birthday! I can't wait for it to get here!! I am so excited to make vinyl signs!!

He is such a little ham!

Lots of twin pics!

Yes, that's a blackberry! I know they are only 7 months old, but they have a busy schedule! Just kidding, they LOVE phones, so we gave them an old one (with the battery removed!) to play with.
Water bottles are also a huge hit!
