Clean House

A clean house is overrated! Every time I pick up an area, the twins crawl there at lightening speed and take out everything I just put away! *SIGH*

Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow
For babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow
So quiet down cobwebs
dust go to sleep
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep!!

Here are the twins with their cousin Dain. We got to have Dain play at our house last week while his daycare was closed. The twins weren't sure what to think about another baby!

Bit Behind

I've been a bit behind in blogging this week. I've been babysitting my cousin's 5 month old baby--it's like having triplets around here!! I hope to be back at the blogging next week. Just wanted to let you know that I haven't dropped off the planet!

Between crawling, playing outside, and playing with their cousin, the twins have been getting worn out!

My First Mother's Day

My first mother's day is rapidly approaching. Some days it's still hard for me to believe that I'm a mother, let alone a mother to twins. Being a mother is like nothing I expected and everything I hoped for. It's hard to believe that someone with such tiny fingers and toes can have such a big place in your heart. Here are some other things I've learn-- Who knew that:

• Sleepless nights would be okay?
• Someones cry could be so heart wrenching?
• Watching first crawls, first words, and first steps could such a happy event?
• You could sleep upright while holding a baby?
• Holding a sleeping baby is like holding an angel?
• Time really does fly?!

Shoot--I had this all written in my head, but then I got interrupted, and now it's gone! Hopefully I still got the majority of it out onto paper!

Don't forget to LOVE your mom!

Modeling Debut

My friend Stephanie--I've posted about her before, she runs Baby La Plume and a Exposure: Photography by Stephanie-- took some pictures of Addison modeling the spring/summer line of her headbands. Addi's on her way to becoming famous! Isn't she cute?!

My Lil' Helper

The twins love to help me craft (this really means they get to play with the kid safe craft supplies!) They especially love playing with all my metal buckets and trying to open the drawers. Addison was a great helper the other day!

The Last Swim

It was our last swim lesson last night. Derrick was on call, so he got to take pictures and Auntie Tiffany got to fill in! They love the pool! Aiden starts kicking as soon as his feet hit the water. Addi is not a huge fan of getting her face wet.
